"Carl got the job done right! He did what it seemed like no one else wanted to. He fixed my trolling motor AND took care of a series of other side problems that I was having with my boat. The variety of issues were important things that I needed someone with experience to handle to keep me from making it worse. He even got one of the trailer tires repaired for me when it picked up a nail on the way to his shop. He treated my little 16ft. Tracker like it was his own. I had the parts, I just needed someone I could trust to put everything back together for me. Before I found Ascension Trolling Motor Repairs, it seemed that NOBODY was interested in doing the job. Not the dealership that sold me the boat (they said that they might call me in four weeks), not the "highly-rated" trolling motor business in Harvey (they didn't even return my call). Other businesses wanted me to leave it on their lot so they could work on it between other more important (expensive) jobs and keep it around so that they could store up some work to do after their busy season. My late father owned and worked in his boat business his entire life, my brother Glenn still works for a large boat business in Fort Worth. I know enough to know that finding an honest, reliable boat repairman can be difficult, Picking the wrong one could be ridiculously expensive and dangerous. Carl fixed my problems right, even though I'd made his job tougher by not correctly replacing a ground cable connector on the primary battery. I brought him the boat late on a Friday afternoon, He told me it would take a week to ten days, but he had me back on the water (catching catfish in Lake Maurepas) the next Wednesday night! I hope I don't break anything else on my boat, but if I do, I know who I'm going to call! Thanks Carl. God bless!"
